Biography

My attraction to art must come from my ancestors, some of whom were painters at the beginning of the 20th century. I have always wanted to explore these mixtures of colors and this difficulty in creating a beautiful work.
I like to give free rein to my imagination and to let go. In front of a blank canvas, it is a pleasure to create contrasts, softness, encounters, shocks of light and colors. Colors speak to me. They challenge me as the work progresses. They require harmony, space, emptiness.

I improvise an adventure with the blank canvas. I impose my ideas, my moods, my experience too. I know what works and what only creates unsuitable imbalances.
I superimpose colors to create depths, light. I also like to create reliefs to reinforce the forms in total freedom.
My freedom draws on inspiration, emotion, matter, color.
My goal is to give life, a soul to a painting.

I like to discuss my work. The testimonies of those who live near my paintings make me move forward on this path where art brings happiness, the pleasure of the gaze and the vibrations of the emotions felt.
The breath, the life, that I transmit to the canvas, spreads an energy that, I hope, will envelop the viewer.
